ARTIST BIO

My Name is Robyn Atsidaftis and I am an Interior Designer and a Self Taught Artist. I live in Adelaide and have my whole life as well as my family for generations. I have been painting for just on 12 months.  I paint mainly in Acrylics on Canvas and love to use Impasto paints.  I found Art after having some time off of work due to illness and just love it.   I have never had an art lesson but have always loved colour and learnt about this in my Interior Design Course so, this is the path I have chosen to take and will continue with.  I know most people have their genre they like to paint but as for mine goes, I like to paint whatever comes to me at the time and so I paint all different subjects.

I have had a radio interview about my art, followed by my first Solo Exhibition at Splashout Gallery at Brighton in SA.  I followed that with another interview in front of an audeince with DJ Jim Slade. I have taken Colour and Mosaic workshops and look to do more.

I have a Certificate VI in Arts and a Certificate IV in Small Business Management.

My aim is to have my own Gallery/Workshop so that I can pass what I know onto others and that they can enjoy Art as much as I do.

This is my first Artshow so I have no awards to speak of.
